SEISMIC BARREL-AGED SPIRITS
Shaken by Rockets
Documented launch records · original packaging · Cape Canaveral
THE PROCESS
Beverages are placed inside our facility approximately 6–7 km from the nearest active launch pad, in their original packaging. With each launch, infrasonic and seismic energy — Rayleigh waves, P-waves, S-waves, and measurable peak particle velocity — travels through the facility and into the beverage, creating a dynamic environment within the container. For barrel-aged spirits, that vibration promotes increased interaction between the liquid and the oak stave wall, encouraging the extraction and integration of compounds such as esters, lactones, and phenols — accelerating some of the physical and chemical interactions associated with traditional aging while the original packaging is preserved.

THE DOCUMENTATION
When your product is processed at our facility, we document the rocket launches that occur during its time with us and provide you with a record of that activity. That documentation can include the dates and times of launches, along with recorded vibration data and graphical representations of the vibrations generated during those events — a documented history that helps establish your product's unique rocket-exposure provenance. Rather than simply telling the story of a beverage aged by rockets, you hold supporting records showing when the launches occurred and the vibration activity associated with your product.
THE PROVENANCE
Customers receive something that cannot be replicated on a conventional shelf: a beverage with a documented connection to actual rocket launches. Every product that spends time at our facility leaves with a record of the launch activity that occurred while it was here.
Customers bring their beverages to our facility in their original packaging, and we preserve that packaging throughout the process. Whether a beverage arrives in a bottle, can, keg, or barrel, it remains in its original container. Beverages that arrive in barrels remain in those barrels, allowing the existing oak-aging environment to become part of the experience.
Depending on the brand, market demand, documentation, packaging, and collector interest, this documented "rocket-aged" or "rocket-conditioned" provenance may create additional value through collectibility, storytelling, and product differentiation. For producers and collectors, it creates an opportunity to position an existing beverage as a limited, specialty, or experiential product with a verifiable history that ordinary aging cannot provide. While resale value ultimately depends on market demand and the individual product, the documented rocket-launch connection has the potential to make the product more distinctive and desirable in the secondary market.
The result is more than simply an aged beverage. It is a product with a documented rocket-launch provenance, supported by launch records and vibration data — a beverage given a remarkable new chapter in its history.
The Archive
07
“Stone fruit, orange peel, white pepper, and a long dry finish with gravitational ambition.”
06
“Dark chocolate, roasted coffee, molasses, and a profound finish that lingers like a first-stage reentry burn.”
05
“Wheat, coriander, lemon zest, and a clean effervescence that lasts as long as a boostback burn.”
LIVE DATA
This is the real-time feed from the triaxial geophone we use to monitor every barrel. Flat days are quiet science. Spikes are rockets. Both are beautiful.
FAQ
Beverages are kept in their original packaging — bottle, can, keg or barrel — approximately 6 to 7 km from the nearest active launch pad. With each launch, infrasonic and seismic energy (Rayleigh waves, P-waves, S-waves and measurable peak particle velocity) travels through the facility and into the beverage.
You receive a provenance file that can include launch dates and times, recorded vibration data for each event, and waveform graphics of the vibrations generated during those launches while your product was at the facility.
Yes. Beverages remain in their original packaging for the entire process — bottles stay sealed in their bottles, and beverages that arrive in barrels remain in those barrels.
Cask 07 (Artemis Shake, Kentucky straight bourbon) — NASA Artemis III, July 15, 2026. Cask 06 (Heavy Metal, aged rum) — SpaceX Falcon Heavy, April 3, 2026. Cask 05 (Orbital Wit, single malt whiskey) — ULA Vulcan Centaur, January 18, 2026. All three casks are sold out.
Cask 08 will be a single-malt whiskey conditioned by the next heavy-lift mission from the Cape. Use the contact form and choose Seismic Spirits Waitlist as the testing type.
Next Cask
The next launch window is being tracked. Cask 08 will be a single-malt whiskey conditioned by the next heavy-lift mission from the Cape, accompanied by its own documented launch records and vibration data. Reserve a bottle now.
